Policies, Terms, and Conditions
Due to the popularity of our carefully selected hotels, we request that payment is made in a timely manner in order to guarantee booking and to avoid the disappointment of staying in an alternate establishment.
Payment: We kindly request that payment is made in the following manner:
More than 60 days prior to departure: A deposit of 20% of the tour cost per person is required to confirm the reservation.
60 days prior to departure: 100% of the total tour price is due.
NOTE: Any booking made less than 60 days prior to departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Christmas, New Year’s and Holy Week / Easter Policy:
90 days prior to departure: 100% of the total tour price is due.
NOTE: Any booking made less than 90 days prior to departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refunds: If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your tour, the following fees will apply, computed as of the date of receipt of written cancellation notice. All cancellations must be received in writing.
90-61 days prior to departure: All non-refundable deposits and surcharges will be forfeited in addition to a cancellation fee of 25% of the funds received will be charged.
60-46 days prior to departure: all non-refundable deposits and surcharges will be forfeited in addition to a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire tour cost will be charged.
45 days or less prior to departure: 100% of the entire tour cost will be charged.
Christmas, New Year’s and Holy Week / Easter Policy:
90 days prior to departure: 100% of the entire tour cost will be charged.
Travel Insurance
It is a policy of Blue World Journeys that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation insurance. We recommend that your travel insurance policy include at least US $50,000 per person of medical insurance coverage and at least US $25,000 of medical evacuation coverage. We strongly recommend that you purchase this at the time of booking in order to protect yourself in the event that you need to cancel your trip as most travel insurance policies only provide 'cancellation for any reason' (other than medical) coverage if purchased within 24 hours of the initial trip payment.
